Can't edit new ads

Hello

I'm just doing final test prior to releasing this website and I've stumbled on an odd problem.

I have many migrated ads from a previous classified system. They are all working fine and I can amend them, pause, renew, expire etc etc.

When I create a new ad for a new user, I can delete, pause, unpause, mark and unmark sold, but when I go into to edit, the changes I make are not saved. I get the message saying the changes have been saved, but in the form beneath, the old details are shown and when I look at the ad properly, nothing is changed. I can edit without problem in admin.

I found a similar question before and I have built this site on a clean Classipress install, importing a Wordpress blog and then importing the ads. I'd kind of understand if there was an issue with the migrated ads, but these work fine.

Any ideas would be very gratefully received.

I meant to add that I've switched off all the plugins and this didn't make any difference.
