category icons and Facebook log in gone in 3.1.9 classipress upgrade

After upgrading to 3.1.9 the first disappointment category icons disappeared, then i decided to sign out and in again and surprise surprise Facebook log in option is not there anymore......also category are displayed in two colums and i use to have 3 and i can not see any option to put it back to the way it was........ I bought these theme a year ago Im not a programmer or similar but I managed to understand their main functions like: The first thing I checked to see what was wrong with my icons and i noticed that the Custom.ccs was replaced by a custom-sample.ccs. I renamed it to custom.css as the instructions in the app themes and then I had copy all the data in it from a previous file but the icons still don't show. Honestly this script seemed to be easy to use, modify etc etc. but IT IS NOT. upgrades are a complete pain these people advertise something in their DEMO and surprise surprise is another one when you buy the theme you have to wonder what plug ins are used, to make it look like their demo and so on...... ANYONE from the support team have any answers please?
