Change the header size + properties

Hi,

1. How can I go about resizing the header so that it aligns with the search bar. (Here is a link to my page - I want the yellow and red to be the same size as my search bar.)

2. Bold the 'Home', Categories, etc in the header.

3. Make it so you have to click the categories for it to pop out, not just roll over it.

I know these are probably relatively simple questions, but I appreciate any help.
