    changing content_botbg.gif but nothing happen

    i'm trying to replace my Default content_botbg.gif to another what i did was simply Overwrite the content_botbg.gif to i made content_botbg.gif but website doesn't change anything, i did the same things on classipress 3.1.4 and it's succeed but in the 3.1.5 it wont change
    how can i do this
