Thread: Child theme shows only text

Child theme shows only text

I recently purchased the classipress theme and succesfully installed it. I want to install a child theme, so I went through the http://www.appthemes.com/blog/classi...torial-part-1/ tutorial and did exactly what is described (through ftp).

When I activate my child theme, my web page is full of text on the left side, as shown below.

Kildly let me know how could I rectify this,
