classipress 3.1.4 new ad going from step 1,to step 2 and back to step 1

While creating a new ad on some of my subdomains, yuma.veclassified.com to create an ad it goes to step 1 to select cat and sub cat (only 2 levels) once you hot go sometimes it will come back to that page again and sometimes it allows you to go to the second page and enter data. Once it does that it will revert back to to the initlal page. And sometimes it goes all the way thru. PLS help. I am thinking it might be a sql access time issue with hosting service and is there any way to change the time to post to the sql database.
