custom form no longer accepts categories

Hello, I would like to know if there is a way to solve, I created many categories and when I will select in the custom form they are not selected, I believe that because there are many, over 1900 categories for just one form, about 1500 were selected, but now no more. is charged, not even when I set it one by one. How could you solve this because the categories must belong to the same custom field. Can you help understand? Thank you!
