"Good Question" plugin not showing on registration page

Hi!
I have had a lot of spam user registrations on my website, and I've also had many users tell me that they are having problems with the reCaptcha question, so I decided to try using the "Good Question" plugin to add a custom question to the registration process. I unchecked the "Enable" box for the reCaptcha and set up the Q&A for the plugin, but it is not showing on my user registration page until the registration process fails in some way. If the first attempt fails, THEN the plugin kicks in, and the reCaptcha box is still showing regardless, even though I have deactivated it in the settings. Can you help me figure out what is going on? Is it just not compatible with the current Classipress and WP version?

I am going to turn off the plugin for now, as it will prevent legitimate registrations and confuse users... I would love it if you could test this for me when you have a chance - I can turn it back on when you're ready... Let me know!
