Google Maps Problem - Ireland

I am trying to fix a google map display problem in Classipress. I am based in Ireland and we have only streets, counties, no zip/postal code or states.

I was using USA/default and Google Maps for my country, as Ireland is not a choice in dropdown list.

I setup a test form (see attachment) to include, street, county, country (my classipress installation will only be used in Ireland)

I tried using your hack and it didn't work in so far as it was displaying Romania prior to your hack and now after implement your hack it's just grey in the map sidebar. Just wondering what I am doing wrong?

I also attach step1.php and sidebar-gmap.php for you to look through.

Do I need to match exactly in my custom fields to google, as in, street, county, country?

Sorry if these questions seem idiotic, I'm a newbie! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
