    Homepage respons time >12 seconds

    Hi all,

    We have difficulty with the speed of the website. We are on a very fast VPS with 8 cores and 16G RAM, running on 2% of its capacity.
    Even with default theme (latest version) on and all Plugins deactivated, the response time is 7-8 seconds. With everything on (plugins and child theme) we are now at 12 seconds!
    We are desperate because nog idea what to do now. Ideas anyone?
