how to make ads permanent

I have read the threads and know that if you change "prune ads" to "no" then ads that have run out will not be removed. However they are listed as having expired. I originally set the period as 365 days but would now like to make the ads permanent. I realise I can change the Ad Listing Period to 10,000 days, but that only applies to ads listed from now on. Also I would like no time limit at all preferably. Any ideas what I can do to make them all permanent and not have them listed as "expired" once they pass 365 days? I am using 3.5.4
