    How to use excerpts on main blog page

    I already saw this thread, but that's not what I want.

    With using <!--more--> the excerpt is taken from article, but I want to write my own excerpts, wordpress has the excerpt field inside posts, where I can write my own text different from the article, how do I make that show as excerpt?
