Login problems when using redirection from a domain to a sub domain?

    Hi all

I hope you have had a Merry Christmas.

I have a problem that I hope you might be able to help me with.

I have installed my CP on a sub domain to my domain. But I have thought up a brand name for my marketplace and now I have purchased this domain at godaddy.com but I want to keep the classipress on the subdomain of my main domain. I just want to point my "brandname" to the subdomain.

Godaddy.com let's me do this easily and I can choose to mask the pointing to it will still be my brandname that remains in the browers address bar even if the user is actually on my subdomain.

BUT BIG PROBLEM WHEN TRYING TO LOG IN AS AN AD POSTER LOGIN DOES NOT WORK?

    Example.
I have classipress installed here: www.mymarketplace.mymaindomainname.com

My brandname purchased at Godaddy is: www.mybrandname.com

When a user enters www.mybrandname.com into the browser he is actually redirected to www.mymarketplace.mymaindomainname.com but in the browser address line it still says www.mybrandname.com - this is a function that Godaddy has.

    BUT...
When I am at my site www.mybrandname.com and try to login as a poster login does not work.

If I type www.mymarketplace.mymaindomainname.com in the browser I also come to the site but now there is no problem with login???

Can anybody tell me what is wrong when I use redirection from www.mybrandname.com?

    My server host is JustHost

    Hope my explanation makes sense

    Cheers

    Chris
