Membership Category Check Boxes Not Saving

I've set my pricing model as follows: for some categories there's a fixed price per category. These seem to be working correctly. My membership package is meant for a specific category of items and I've set it as such in the backend.

But after checking back today, the checkboxes for those specific categories were all cleared. Any idea how to fix this? It seems that when I leave the page and then come back later it clears the checkboxes (and thus makes those categories free since they dont have a price per category and are associated with membership packages).
