    Mysql

    Hello,

I managed to install Classipress on a domain and also on a subdomain. I now want to export the categories which I have created for the first site (the one residing on the domain) to the subdomain. The aim is to have the 2 sites operating separately as they refer to different regions.

I tried to backup MYSQL via my hosting service provider control panel but when I restored it to the subdomain all I ended up with was a duplicate of the original site!! What I did in one site was reflected in the other...

I was hoping since I am only starting to get the grasp of Wordpress that someone could provide me with a simple solution to my problem
