Pagination Issue

I checked multiple threads claiming Pagination issues, but I didn't find one that pertained to this issue.

Over at http://basewives.com, pagination is working fine when browsing all entries. However, when browsing entries in ad-categories, pagination is not working correctly.

Issue #1
I have my displayed posts set to a number higher than the default 10 in my WP settings. When browsing through listings specific to an ad-category, the pagination is appearing at the bottom of the ad-categories pages, even when that page does not exceed a page's worth of listings. (See here: http://basewives.com/ad-category/books/)

Issue #2
And this may also pertain to Issue #1, but when the second page of the ad-category pagination is clicked, it takes them to the 404 page (most obviously because a second page of listings for that category doesn't exist yet).

What do I need to do to make the pagination bar relevant to the ad-category display being viewed?
