Pagination issue on blog homepage

Hi all, I have a pretty basic request I hope but I have been getting no where with it. I actually posted this same request over 1 week ago now but got little or no help at all on my issue so maybe this thread will get a slittle support for my issue. I know I should not post twice but I have been waiting 8 or 9 days now with only one reply that was not related to my pagination issue so I have little option but to ask again for help. I am still optimistic i can get some good support for my problem however so hopefully someone can help out. it would be massively appreciated as I am stumped on this one.

I have only made some basic css changes to my theme and nothing at all in terms of php edits or core file edits. I am running the latest stable version of classipress 3.1.9

What i did do is create a custom menu and set my homepage to the standard wordpress blog and then my second menu page to the ads page. Nothing major there. The only actual edit I made to a core file was to remove the hardcoded HOME button from the template header as I had to HOME menu buttons when I swapped the blog for the ads page.

So all works fine on my site here: http://www.jamjo.ie/sandpit/mutantspace

Pagination on this page http://www.jamjo.ie/sandpit/mutantspace/bank/ (the ads page) works fine.
Pagination on this page http://www.jamjo.ie/sandpit/mutantspace/culture-blog/ (the blog page) works fine.

What does not work is the pagination on the homepage here: http://www.jamjo.ie/sandpit/mutantspace

Basically I can see the pagination leads to something like this on the homepage: http://www.jamjo.ie/sandpit/mutantspace/page/2 and page/3 and so on but of course it should be going to the blog pagination.

Any ideas on this? or a workaround? Even if I could have a link on the homepage that said "View More" like the ads page which linked to the blog directly and from there the person could click on page 3 and so on. Right now I cannot go live as its siply not working.

Any help would be appreciated as before i posted here I tried a number of ways and then i posted my previous comment over 1 week ago but heard nothing back at all really so now as i say I have resorted to maybe explanation this issue more in this post in case my initial support request was not explained well. Any questions please ask.

Just to be aware here: i have tried saving permalinks, and as I say all works great on every page of my site except the homepage.
