Permalink structure duplicate content issue

I just found there is a huge problem with duplicate content structure in classipress, especially with classified ads where chances we have 2 or more identical ads is big. This is a problem because classipress does not take in account the wordpress permalink structure like /%postname%-%post_id% but rather writes its own.
Unless I manually approve each ad and add myself a number in the permalink, it's not good

How to fix this?
