Permalinks works for ad-category or ad-something but not ads?
I want the following structure for my permalinks:
mysite.com/ads/category (category page)
mysite.com/ad/single-ad-page
(I wanted "ads" for both but realize the limitations due to WordPress, so was happy to settle for the above.) However, when I attempt it, I get an error. I have tried to change the category permalinks to "ad-category" and "adblah" and they both work, but not "ads". I have made sure to set the single ad permalink to "ad" (no S). Can anybody replicate this and tell me if it works or doesn't work for them? Thanks.
