Plugins issue : most of them don't work with Classipress
I've installed a few plugins on my Classipress site and none of them works. Some of them are famous and work perfectly ont thousands of sites. The origin of the problem always seems to be the same : most of the plugins are based on "Posts" whereas all Classipress content is "Ads" custom post type. So when the plugin looks for some content it seeks in "posts" and finds nothing.
That is the case for instance for all the "related/similar posts" plugins (like YARPP) or RSS plugins : they don't find any content to match with.
How can I fix it an finally get any plugin to work on Classipress, based on Ads and not on Posts ?
