    post an ad button does nothing - but ad posting sequence works fine from slug page

    after following some of the instructional threads here regarding permalinks (custom setting and changes to theme-function.php), my Post an Ad button does nothing (just refreshes the home page). However, I can execute the full ad posting sequence from the page template slug (selecting "view" for Add-New). I have wordpress and classipress installed via MAMP locally. Please advise. Thanks!
