Problems with image uploads from Smartphones
One of our users has reported problems uploading images using an iPhone. The images seem to be compressed with a large black band. We've tried this on another iPhone and found a similar, although slightly different problem (smaller black band). And I've just tried to upload an image using my android phone (ICS) and the image upload won't work at all.
Are these known problems? If so, will there be a code correction released soon, because this seems quite inconsistent with the responsive design - which aims to make sites more usable on smartphones and tablets.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. For example, is there a plugin or child theme I could purchase to solve this problem?
