ReCaptcha fatal error

I'm receiving this error

Where is the public and private key supposed to go? I've got it installed in the settings now...have tried every combination though of putting it in both the plugin and settings and one or the other and either i get the message above or i get no captcha code and can't register...please help. thanks.
