Search Filter - advanced search feature

I've read a few threads on the advanced search filter.... I am setting up a car selling classifieds site. I want to be able to have custom search filter - ie car brands, sub-car brands models, price range, year, fuel type etc. etc. Any data if this will be included in classipress's next update? When's the search by region coming out? If no on both counts, what plugins will do the trick???
