Upgrade to 3.1.9 blog sidebar error; category display
I'm testing out my site after upgrading to latest wordpress (3.3.2) and classipress v 3.1.9.
Search results blog sidebar:
When I do a category search the blog sidebar headings no longer show my 5 latests blog articles! Instead, it comes up with the first 5 items (ads) in the search results! Amazing.
I did try setting "Exclude blog posts" to "no" but didn't change result.
I'm not sure if this "feature" existed with my previous classipress install as I may just have never noticed it ... ? Is this operating as designed or is there a fix required?
Category Page Display:
The upgrade classipress 3.1.9 "Categories" page on main pages bar now only shows the Main Categories until the mouse pointer slides over, then subcategories appear. I'm having a bit of trouble selecting the left bottom most category; when I try the whole display disappears. I have figured out how to select it and see the subcategories but it's a delicate operation. I'm just envisioning my customers having the same issue. Also, I notice I can choose to show ad count but it applies to both main and sub-categories. In the previous Classipress I had the option to select both or either. Has that option now gone away?
I'll keep testing ...
