Warning: Carousel Wipe Out Bug
Do not try this on a live website:
In order to test the Pricing Options you might want to run a few test ads.
In doing so, you can lockout the Featured Ads carousel even though you have enable it to show in the Pricing Options control area. And you will not be able to get it restored.
This is how it happens;
Enable Featured Ads Carousel.
Enable charge for featured ads.
Enter amount for featured ad
Set a charge for featured ads (.99)
Enable PayPal Sandbox mode.
Place a test ad. Be sure to check the "Featured" ad charge.
Follow through to completion.
The ad will be held for payment verification.
Next go back to the admin control panel.
Under ads, do anything to enable or to delete the "pending" ad.
Your goal at this point would be to return your operating website to normal with Featured Ads showing in the carousel in a normal parade fashion.
You will find that if you enable the "paid" ad that the carousel will show - but the results are the one ad will be repetitive. . .very bad.
If you delete the ad, the carousel will go away completely and cannot be restored.
ClassiPress customers have posted multiple questions about a "disappearing carousel" and this is probably the reason for it.
Is there is a solution for returning the carousel to "out of the box" operating condition WITHOUT re-installing the theme?
Has this been reported as a bug yet?
