Widgets problem

I just upgraded to 3.03 ultimate edition. I put back all my widets, however the wp ad categories widgets does not display the categories now. It says "no categories". I've removed it several times adding it to various pages but still no categories are showing up. Any idea what is causing this? I have many categores created that were working previously in my widget.
