You have entered an invalid ad id

Hi,
I have tried everything and I cant seem to get beyond this problem. When a user tries to edit or pause or mark sold their ad they get the message 'you have entered an invalid ad id or do not have permission to edit that ad '
I have users set to contributor
It also happens with admin account
I have no plugins activated
permalinks are set to recommended
I contacted my host and they replied:

Thanks for the Information. I'm out of idea's to what can be causing this. The permissions are correct, permalinks are working correctly. I advise double checking with the theme developer that all the settings are correct for user permissions and users able to edit their posts they have made.

I have searched and searched through this forum and I have used all recommended changes/settings to no avail.
Would anyone please have any advice or info to offer me as i cannot figure this out.

Btw I am on a Zeus server so i can not access htaccess files but as mentioned above my host is happy that my permalinks are set correctly.
