Cant Add Java or HTML to Sidebars or Pages (Clipper)

I'm just trying to add affiliate banner ads to my Clipper site and am unable to anywhere; i.e. pages, or sidebars. I'm not able to provide you with an example of the banner code, but it's standard href and img source code derived from any of the affiliate networks.

Widgets - I've tried using the stock TEXT widget and installed a couple other Java/HTML plugin widgets and my raw HTML code will not display on my Clipper site. Is there something in the theme file that blocks external code or something?

Pages - Same issue. I want to display multiple affiliate banner ads via raw HTML and the ads will not display on my Clipper site.

Please help me figure this out. It just seems odd I'm unable to add any non-feed related affiliate banners/links to my site.
