Coupon Codes Without Expiry Date Return to Draft Status

I have found that coupon codes without an expiry date return to draft status after they been "Published". First time I thought that maybe I forgot to publish, but then a few days later, all coupons without an expiry date went back to draft status and disappeared off the site?

This is a critical bug since some coupon codes are ongoing. Sure I can set the date to a year, but if visitors to the site share a coupon without a expiry date, their coupons will disappear and I cannot set an expiry on their codes as I won't know.

Any fix for this? I don't want to have to go back in and extend dates for all coupons that don't expire 6 months or a year from now???
