Expiration date/time bug
Hi Clipper team,
found some bugs regarding the expires settings.
First issue:
Have a coupon that is set to expire the 7th and another one that is set to expire the 8th but in the expires soon widget, they are both saying that they expires today. This should only be the one with the date set to 7th and the other should expire tomorrow instead.
Next issee:
The coupon I have that is set to expire the 7th (today) shows up in the coupon list as already expired. I guess the ideal thing here would be to change the text to "this coupon expires today" instead. This also gives a nice feature to the visitor.
Third issue:
On the store view the coupon does not show the same "expire tag" as on the list view mentioned above. The coupon also does not change from reliable to unreliable when it is expired.
To sum up:
- I think that coupons should expire the date sat at midnight, ex. expires 7th then it should change to expired when its the 8th.
- The coupon list (frontpage), storeview and widget are not agreeing when the coupon really has expired.
- The expired tag that shows up only on the frontpage, should be translated to "Expires today" and also be visible in the store view.
- When a coupon has expired it should indeed go to the "unreliable list"
Ohh. I forgot, the Expires soon widget says that both coupons are expiring today eventhough one is set to the 7th and the other to the 8th. Should be tomorrow regarding the 8th.
Thanks,
Dennis
