Regular user Account: User has wordpress backend dashboard and partial access

Hi there,

I was just shocked, when taking a look what registerd users see/have access to: I thought all they see are the user pages on the actual site - but now I see that they actually have access to the wordpress backend dashboard (so actually being able to set SEO settings for post and coupon submissions (see the screenshot).

Is this how it is supposed to be, or do I have something set wrong?

How can I fix this - I do not want the users to see anything from wordpress. Would this plugin do the job: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-hide-dashboard/
