When a bug is found from a release, a user has to patiently wait for the update to the release for a few months.
Is there a better way you can recommend your management team to releases?
In our company, when bugs are found, our dev's fix the bugs, test it, and release a new version to the public ASAP. Can you recommend that please?
I think its quite bad that appthemes has a new version release policy of every 3-4 months, and if any critical bugs are found upon a release, the user has to wait 3-4 months for a fix! It's not good to offer a DEV-Build to users for the fix because the dev build is by no means stable.
Please can this be looked into a response posted back?
I'm sure theres no harm in releasing updates every week with new bug fixes in place.
For example:
- June 1st: Release v1.7
- June 2nd: Critical Bug Found
- June 3rd: Start Fixing Bug
- June 10th: Release v1.7.1 (with bug fix)
CURRENTLY, its like this:
- June 1st: Release v1.7
- June 2nd: Critical Bug Found
- June 20th: Start Fixing Bug
- Nov 1st: Release v1.7.1 (with bug fix)
