    Author page 404 error

    Seems when I have multiple pages for the author profile it goes to a 404 page

    Myjobsite.com/author/name <--works
    Myjobsite.com/author/name/page/2/ <--404 page

    I tried disabling all plugins, rechecking permalinks. All is followed under documentation. I even did a fresh install and still directs to 404 page.

    Could it be the Wordpress update I recently did? I'm stumped. Please help.
