Bug fix request – application form - on error, page doesn't scroll to validation text
Hi guys,
I hope you can help resolve what I believe is a bug in jobroller 1.6.5:
When a website visitor applies for a job by using the application form in the job description page, if there is an error in the form submission the page reloads but it does not scroll down to show the error message, so the applicant has no idea that the form hasn't been submitted correctly.
The URL they are directed to includes a URL hash #apply_form_result that implies the page should scroll to the HTML element with the ID apply_form_result, but having looked at the code this ID seems to be missing. Eg:
.../jobs/commission-only-sales-person-needed-for-healthcare-industry/#apply_form_result
I believe the error handling for this form happens in the file jobroller/includes/forms/application/application-process.php – is this correct? And what's the best way to include 'apply_form_result' as an ID in the resulting HTML code?
Thanks!
