Easy one! Need to add ads to my site. What "sidebars" represent left/ Top / Bottom?

I am ready to add some "ads" to my site - the title to the right of logo - and then left side bar - and perhaps right and bottom. Which choice(s) do I choose as Jobroller is not specific - no "obvious" instructions as to where they will be displayed - even if you add a widget or choose an ad under "settings / advertising".

Just need to know what widgets I drag to where - and where it will show up and what kind of files I need (and how) to upload properly. If you can advise as if / how I can add some "featured jobs" to the sidebar that would be worth a case of Canadian Beer sent to your locale!
