Few Sections of Site broke broke after 1.7.1 update (Child Theme used)

We were using some functions like: jr_before_step_three(), jr_preview_job_form(), jr_after_step_three() when we were till 1.6.4.

And we do not know what is the extent of all the breaking changes like these from 1.6.4 to 1.7.1

What support can we get for this? And any tips to avoid these kinds of issues?

"Submit a Job", "Register" both are not working as it was before the update.
