Geolocator for 'los angeles' shows 'Carson, California, United States'

I have a problem on my live site using jobroller, and the latest version demo has same issue..

if I go to the demo:

http://demos.appthemes.com/?theme=jobroller

and post a job, then type in 'l.a.' or 'los angeles' or 'los angeles, ca' in the location box, and click find on map, it shows 'Carson, California, United States' as the results, any ideas on how to fix? alot of our posts are coming in from l.a. and getting alot of emails about it, I have to manually change it each time ( we hid the map, if map was showing they could click on it, but that is pointless to make em do it twice ) ..

any ideas?
