JOBROLLER 1.7 Header Admin Area Menu

In JR 1.7 we can see the admin menu in the header when logged in as an admin....which seems to function fine.

As an employer and a recruiter we can see the admin menu in the header, but when we click on the link "Howdy, Name" section called "Edit My Profile" we get an access denied type message. When we click on the "Edit Profile" link under the meta tags in the sidebar it works fine.

As a jobseeker we do not see the admin menu in the header.

So we are trying to figure out if the glitch is not having an admin menu in the header for the job seeker role, or having the admin menu in the header with certain restrictions that should be corrected or redirected.
