Jobs with Locations in New York City

For anyplace else, this seems to work fine. When attempting to add a job or resume location that is in a New York City borough, like "brooklyn, new york", it defaults to "new york, united states".

I know thats not the case with google maps in general, so im wondering if there is something in place that is blocking the boroughs from showing up. its kind of important, since we are launching as a new york service
