TWO MAJOR PROBLEMS with quality control
I am testing the site before clients start using it and have found major problems with usability.
1. TICKET DUPLICATION
I just changed the assignment permissions in QC settings from 'read only' to 'protected' in the drop down box 'Tickets not assigned to the current user are'
…..............and now I have the major problem of the same ticket duplicating several times down the page. In my test this has meant that one user who had created 12 tickets which listed on two pages now has about 200 duplicated tickets listed on more than 20 pages.
2. STATUS, PRIORITY & MILESTONE
The total tickets numbered in the drop down for status, priority and milestone are less than the actual number of tickets created by a user.
What seems to happen is that even though status, priority and milestone are set for the ticket it is not included in the total count.
All the tickets are listed but the ones not included in the dropdown count are missing a status button which makes the list of tickets look like one long document instead of separate tickets.
…...............a few days ago I went into each ticket with no status button showing and resubmitted it. This seemed to resolve the problem – they were included in the dropdown counts and the status button reappeared
…..........but now today I check the tickets and again the total tickets numbered in the drop down for status, priority and milestone are less than the actual number of tickets created by a user.
THESE ARE BOTH MAJOR PROBLEMS PLEASE CAN APPTHEMES HELP ASAP!
