This is mainly for the mods and long time members.

How ever many moons ago, Appthemes changed the way you entered the url into the social media fields.

You went from copying the full URL https://www.facebook.com/pages/Mouli...s/230459485361

to pages/Moulin-de-Passais/230459485361

there was a mountain of complaints as it was felt to copy the full url in was a much better option.

So they changed it back.

However.

Within those times i put ads on my site in the way they said pages/Moulin-de-Passais/230459485361 and it used to launch as the full URL https://www.facebook.com/pages/Mouli...s/230459485361

Then when they changed it back you copied the full URL in as I said.

Now i can't remember what happened but I assume I did as was directed.

However going over some older ads I am now getting this when clicking on the facebook fields. pages/Moulin-de-Passais/230459485361 giving an error as it can't find the page.

This does not happen on the newer ads I have put on recently i should say.

So I am guessing in one of the updates since, appthemes have removed some code within the theme that used to correct the changes automatically.

Now if I activate bfinder I get the opposite on the older ads with Twitter

I get a double https://twitter.com when i click on the twitter icon.


Can a mod get the developer to look at this. It seems bfinder has the proper code for facebook so it launches properly when you click on the icon link but not for twitter and Vantage has the correct code for twitter and not facebook.
