Content Missing on default mobile view

I am not looking for a mobile theme but just for the site to work on mobile.

The default view on an iPhone is zoomed in very near and looks really poor, most content outside of this window is not rendering either i.e. when I zoom out I can only see whatever content was initially loaded when view was zoomed in.
Also on some pages I simply cannot zoom out fully.

I am not requesting a mobile interface but just that the website displays on the mobile like it does on the desktop.

First image is the zoom level when site loads, second shows zoomed out but with footer content missing (that is also the furthest I can zoom out). The footer has 4 columns with content but the mobile only shows one

Anyone else experience these issues or even find a solution.
