Customer editing a listing creates duplicate draft in admin area

If a customer signs up to the site and posts a listing, this says it is pending approval like it's supposed to do, no problem here.

Once approved, the listing goes live and all is good.

However, when the customer then makes a change to their listing and saves it, this message appears:-



The plan is set to free, unlimited everything.

The original listing has a URL of: www.website.com/new-customer-listing

After the edit has been made by the customer, in the admin back end, this is what shows:-



It has created a duplicate of the original listing as a draft, with the new edits from the customer saved in there but with a new URL of: www.website.com/new-customer-listing-1

I don't receive any notification that this is a pending listing, it doesn't show up as pending anywhere and even if I did approve it, it would create a duplicate listing on the front end of the site.

If a customer wants to edit their listing many times, which most will want to do with this site, I can't have it creating hundreds of drafts?
