Thread: How are Listings placed on site? Different homepage vs "listings" appearance, why?

How are Listings placed on site? Different homepage vs "listings" appearance, why?

Even when viewing the demo... Listings on:

http://demos.appthemes.com/vantage/

Dr. Schmozo Dozo’s Root Beer Garden = first featured listing
Soda Pop Heaven = first regular listing


are in a different order than on:

http://demos.appthemes.com/vantage/listings/

Shadetree Cafe = first featured listing
Good Food = first regular listing


But when you use the sorting filter and select "Newest first", the order of the /listings/ is the correct order. Just that features don't stay on the top?


So what makes listings appear differently on these two pages?
