Thread: Menu using post categories rather than listing categories?

Menu using post categories rather than listing categories?

I want my menu items to be categories of listings (ie support groups, classes, etc). The categories that are listed as options when building a menu (only one..."uncategorized") appears to be the categories from the posts rather than the listings. It seems like I should be able to build my page around my categories and have the functionality of categories (sub-categories, count of listings)

Currently, I have them linked from custom links but it doesn't provide the functionality of subcategories and count of listings that it seems like it should.

Am I missing something. Is there a way to make this happen?
