Search near, distance has stopped working
My search near will only return results identical with the Location search Terms, and will not give results at a distance.

This was working until yesterday, so I suspect something has become corrupted. The sites are using the Directory Theme, but I switched back to Vantange on one and had the same problem. I have a problem with every site on the network. US is currently hidden if your not logged in. But I have over 30 listings in the San Francisco area and search terms for San Francisco only gives the three results that are in the city itself. You can see the same behavior in the Canada site above. I've set the distances to be over 100 miles.
Also the distance slider bar has disappeared from search result filter options.
I really don't want to completely reinstall the themes. I wouldn't mind doing Vantage, but would like to avoid losing edits to the Directory theme.
Are there specific Theme files I can replace to try to fix this?
I already deleted the Multi-City AV plug in, and tried turning off other plugins to see if there were any conflicts.
