Vantage login with Facebook

Has anyone had success using a plugin to allow users to login to a Vantage site with their Facebook credentials?

I've spent a few hours trying every plugin I could find and most don't even come close to working. Social Connect at least displays the social media icons on the login page. But it doesn't seem to work - unless I'm missing something really obvious!

It would be really amazing to have this integration!
