Vantage Search

Just starting to load vantage with some data and have several banks in one town. When searching for these banks in said town I get every bank in the system. I can't refine the search distance it just defaults back to 50 miles. The area that I am using Vantage to cover is less than 50 miles radius so I need to set the default distance to a more realistic 5 miles.

Can anyone provide a pointer on where I can change the default 50 to 5

How does the search work in vantage is it based on Google maps or on matching specifics on initial search?

I would have thought that if I entered (search for) banks - (near) Kendal I would get all the banks that have been listed in Kendal and then when those results were returned I could then refine the search to include banks within a radius.

Is this not how it works?
