Vantage very basic child theme...map and some widget are not display correcly

I created a child theme with only
/*
Theme Name: Vantage Example Child Theme
Theme URI: http://appthemes.com/
Description: Example child theme for the Vantage theme
Author: AppThemes
Author URI: http://appthemes.com/
Template: vantage
Version: 0.1.0
*/

@import url("../vantage/style.css");
@import url("../vantage/styles/blue.css");

and nothing else...and there is no other file in the child theme...
The child theme is working... but...

I should get about the same result as the original... but my map and some widget are not display correcly on the home page (see the image)

Note: If i select the original theme every thing is fine...??? Any suggestion...
